Whitchurch-Stouffville Strawberry Festival 2019 Vendor Rules and Regulations

 

  1. The Festival Board and/or its representatives acting on its behalf, as space is limited, reserves the right to rescind or cancel this agreement, and the right of ejection for breach of any part of the mentioned rules, terms and conditions. 

  2. The Whitchurch-Stouffville Strawberry Festival is a family-oriented event. The Festival requires that all products, décor and signage reflect the character of the event.

  3. The decisions of the Festival Board in all matters of appropriateness are considered final.

  4. Payment for booth and power are due with application. No refunds or cancellations.

  5. Vendors are responsible to ensure compliance with Health and Fire Safety regulations. Failure to comply with Health and Fire Safety regulations may result in a request for vendor removal. In this case the Festival will not issues refunds.

  6. All Vendor Applications will receive a permit. Confirmation of location will be determined at the beginning of June and permits will be sent by email within a week of the festival or earlier. 

  7. Your area must be clean and neat at all times.

  8. You may not sublet your space.

  9. Exhibits should be open for business by 9:00 a.m. on Saturday and 11:00 a.m. on Sunday. Those exhibitors not opened by this time risk losing their space. Market hours are 9:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Saturday and 11:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on Sunday. Food Vendor market hours are 9:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Saturday and 11:00 a.m. to 8:00 p.m. on Sunday

  10. All vehicles must be removed from the streets of the Festival market area as quickly as possible and no later than 30 minutes before the start time. It is suggested that you unload your vehicle at your booth, remove your vehicle, and then set up your display. THERE IS NO VEHICLE ACCESS TO THE STREET DURING THE FESTIVAL.

  11. On Saturday and Sunday, tear down only after 5:00 p.m. Vendors must vacate promptly by 6:00 p.m. Failure to do so will jeopardize your acceptance at future festivals and you may incur the fines from the Town of Whitchurch-Stouffville. 

  12. Vendors must provide everything necessary to set up their booth to their satisfaction. The Festival does not provide any tent, table, chair, covering, etc. This is an outdoor event, please come prepared for any inclement weather.

  13. Sales must take place within the confines of your allocated space. Walk-about sales are strictly prohibited.

  14. Vendors must carry out only activities that have been described in the application form. The Festival Board reserves the right to refuse the sale of certain products. Failure to comply with the Festival’s policies will result in immediate eviction from the event without refund or fees paid.

  15. The Whitchurch-Stouffville Strawberry Festival, its agents or assigns, accept no liability whatsoever for any loss or damage to equipment or merchandise, however caused. Each participant acknowledges that attendance at the Festival is at his/her own risk, absolutely and that there is no promise, warranty or guaranteed of business or sales, volume of customers, or safety to equipment, merchandise or persons expressed or implied.
